Bargain Buy: Lipstick

I thought I'd let you all into a little beauty secret in the name of Lacura. It's the beauty brand that Aldi stock in their stores. I had heard numerous things about Aldi beauty products and how wonderful they are (as well as the food) and when I found out there was a store not too far away I was there in a heart beat.

I now go fairly regularly as I find some items you'd find in Tesco's and other supermarkets are cheaper, but that is another post ;)

Anyway I've bought a couple of Lacura products but in this post I will be talking about their lipstick's.

I first bought number 301 (have thrown out box so unsure if there is a name). It's a lovely darkish red, boarding on vampy. The formula is creamy, glides on lovely and there is a glossy sheen that appears after application.  Smells good too. I don't think it will last all day but personally that's OK with me as I will just reapply when necessary.

The other colour which I bought last week is 431, it's a darkish pink with a hint of purple. Totally right for this season and again with the same lovely formula and glossy sheen.




These lipsticks are pretty pigmented and I just love the little bullet style packaging and just generally the whole product. I will be buying more of their colours, especially as it retails at a whopping £1.99! Bargain or what?
