MUA Review

Due to not really venturing into Superdrug in past oh probably 4/5 years I hadn't heard of MUA until I started blogging. Yes I know late to the game as always..

I thought I would make a cheeky order from the MUA website to try a few bits and what a palaver that was! I ordered different 4 products but 2 of each, only one of each arrived. I contacted them and they sent out the rest that day and I received them the next. Fab yes but I received the wrong colour of one of the products and it had also smashed. Boo! So they sent me out another one which again was the wrong colour! So 4th time lucky I received the correct colour. It took over a week for the initial order to arrive and then a week and a bit for the last item. Might be easier to pop into Superdrug next time.. 

So back to the products..

Blusher in Shade 4 - Tread lightly with this blusher as it's highly pigmented. I looked like Aunt Sally's long lost niece after first applying! Gorgeous colour and gives you a lovely pretty glow that definitely lasts. 

Eyeshadow in Shade Matt 18  - This is a beautiful colour. It's not very pigmented on first application but you can easily build it up to a stronger colour. I have had it on for a good 6 hours now and it still looks as great as when I first applied. 

Lipstick in Shade 1 - Love this colour. I have so many red lipsticks now it'd getting silly! Anyway the formula is lovely and creamy and does last a few hours. It looks lighter on the lips than the actually product and It did bleed a bit after a while though. 

The Tea Test: Consists of drinking a cup of tea  and seeing the results  (yes very scientific!) 

I can conclude that the colour survived my tasty cup of  P.G Tips! 

Nail Varnish in Shade 24 - I adore this colour and it's a colour that I have never used before. It comes up quite nude in the picture but it's a light Lilac shade. It was quite streaky for the first coat and I didn't have high hopes but after 3 coats (which is the only downside) it was opaque and looking fab! I love the small brush and it dried fairly quickly.

So all in all I am incredibly impressed! For £1 a product these are an absolute bargain! I will definitely be heading to Superdrug to try out some more shades in the line.

Christmas Nails: MeMeMe & L.A Colours

Christmas nails!

These are so preeety! I used two coats of MeMeMe polish in 87 Defiant and one coat of this gorgeous green glitter polish by L.A.Colours that I picked up in a local shop for a £1. A pound I hear you say...yes a POUND!! 

I will be back to this shop as they have a multitude of colours for...yes you got it...a POUND!
