Daniel Sandler Long Lasting Waterproof Eyeliner in Velvet Brown Review & Swatch

As I have far too many black eyeliners - see previous post here - I wanted a dark brown liner to use for when I want a soft smokey eye. I also wanted one to use in the waterline as black makes my eye's look too small and just doesn't work for me so I thought brown would be a more suitable approach. Considering the Daniel Sandler Waterproof Eyeliner* is er well waterproof I thought it would be perfect!

The packaging looks exactly like the Stila Smudge Sticks but unlike them you can actually retract the product if you wind up too much. It doesn't swatch as dark as it is in the stick but it's a buildable product and you can  go as dark as you like. I used this on the upper and lower lash line and smudged out slightly with my Japonesque smudging brush (great tool). It created a perfect daytime smokey effect and I was rather pleased with my effort haha. This my friends did not budge all day! I had to scrub it off my hand a few times to get rid of the swatch. Rather impressive staying power I must say! I did also use it on the waterline and again lasted pretty well, not all day but much longer than anything else I have tried there.

I just adore this eyeliner, it works perfectly with the colours in my new Stila Palette (swatches up soon) and I am yet to be disappointed by any Daniel Sandler products so I suggest you give some a whirl! You can find  the range of eyeliners here from Hairtrade who you have probably heard me mention a few times and offer fantastic beauty, hair care and hair extensions on their site.

What do you reckon on this product?

  3. I havent tried anything from this brand but I do like to wear brown eyeliner as it can look just that little bit more natural than a harsh black & I love finding one that actually lasts all day.
